I am Pronab Das. A public health researcher with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree from Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Bangladesh.
My research explores the epidemiology of zoonotic infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, occupational hazards, and mental health outcomes. I have contributed to more than 15 research studies across diverse domains, including 10 published peer-reviewed articles. My current research interest includes chronic non-communicable diseases, particularly cerebrovascular diseases, with a focus on molecular mechanisms and neuroprotective therapeutic development.
Currently, I serve as a Research Fellow at CHINTA Research Bangladesh, contributing to studies on psychiatric epidemiology. I previously worked as a Research Assistant at One Health Institute, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, where I was engaged in public health and One Health projects, including occupational health, infectious disease, and meta-analysis.
